Since I was having the time of my life in Italy, Paris and London in January and celebrated my birthday throughout February, life was bound to bring me back to earth at some point – that point being March! My final year of university started, but between fretting about impending prac assessment and locking down internships, I still found time to discover a new beauty holy grail, watch my favourite skinny legend snatch the crown, welcome the tenth season of my favourite show and see one of my most loved artists live in concert. This monthly instalment is definitely quality over quantity of things mentioned, so give this post a “like” if you enjoy it and let’s get into my March Favourites!
I’m back with the final instalment in my RuCreate The Look series! The lip sync battle was fought and our new current reigning winner was crowned – condragulations Sasha Velour! – and so the ninth season has come to an end. I started my RuCreate The Look series as a way of combining my intense obsession with RuPaul’s Drag Race with my love for makeup, flatlaying and blogging. As the season and my series developed, we took a slight detour from the makeup segment of the show and I started critiquing the different fashion looks delivered in each episode. Today I want to finish off the series by celebrating some of my favourite looks from the finale episode! So if you enjoy this post please give it a “like” so I know and let’s jump into it one last time!
The reunion episode for the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race aired yesterday, delivering the drama, receipts and steaming hot tea we had been waiting for all season! Every single queen looked amazing, but to avoid this fashion review turning into a marathon by judging all 14 queens, I just picked my Top 5 of the episode! If you enjoy this post please give it a “like” so I know, and let’s crack on with it!
As the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race progresses towards the finish line, I’m filled with both excitement and dread because it means this phenomenal season is rapidly coming to an end! This week’s episode gave us the annual ball where the queens were tasked with creating three different looks for the runway, each aiming to fulfil a different theme. Some of my all time favourite looks happened in this week’s episode, so instead of looking at the makeup for this week’s ‘RuCreate The Look’ post, I’ll be reviewing the 15 outfits that walked the runway! If you enjoy this post, please give it a “like” so I know, and let’s on with the fashion!
Can you believe we’re already up to the tenth instalment in my RuCreate The Look series? I’m absolutely loving season nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race and think this is the strongest cast of queens we’ve seen in a long time – I don’t want this season to end! The latest episode gave us the annual makeover challenge, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with Sasha’s makeup look. So, this post is dedicated to her! Keep reading to how I’d rucreate something similar, plus to read my thoughts on this week’s episode. If you enjoy this post, please give it a “like” so I know, and let’s crack on with it!
For this week’s RuCreate The Look instalment I’m rucreating… absolutely nothing, because episode nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race gave us an out of this world, one of a kind Club Kid Couture runway theme that left me applauding. While I won’t ‘rucreate’ any of the sensational looks, I’ll be reviewing every single one of them in my own little ‘Fashion Photo Ruview’, with less Raja and Raven and more gifs. If you enjoy this post please give it a “like” so I know, and let’s get into the literal art that walked down the runway.
With episode eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race providing us with The Roast of Michelle Visage, it seemed only right to dedicate this week’s RuCreate The Look to the women herself! I have so much love and respect for Michelle. She’s such a realistic mother bear to the queens, giving constructive feedback to help them improve, constantly touring with them and even helping some of them through addictions. She’s absolutely gorgeous, but this season her makeup is literally flawless. So, let’s jump into how I’d rucreate something similar to the beat she was sporting and then get into my episode rucap!
