As the weather stays gloomy and drizzly (which is actually my favourite) and the season gets spookier, a little Lush Cosmetics haul just seems appropriate! Lush is well known for releasing limited edition collections around the holidays, such as Easter, Halloween and especially Christmas. In fact, when I bought these products yesterday, half the display was filled with Christmas items already! My university semester is coming to a close, which means thankfully more time to relax, and more excuses to treat myself! I have been debating picking up a bunch of spooky, seasonal picks from Lush and yesterday finally popped a few items into my basket! Keep reading to find out what I bought and why, and if you enjoy this post, please give it a “like” so I know!
In regards to discussing skincare on my blog, I either never mention it or post a gigantic haul – today is a gigantic haul kind of day! Due to my birthday happening recently – birthday haul blog post coming soon! – and picking up my quarterly Mecca Beauty Loop Box, I’ve accumulated a bunch of new skincare items! I need to thank one of my best friends in particular because she inspired this entire post with her ridiculously generous birthday gift of enough face masks to last me the foreseeable future. I have been dying to try some out but had no idea where to start, but she definitely came through for me! Here’s everything I’ve collected over the last few weeks, so I hope you enjoy this post and if you do, please give it a “like” so I know!
Over the last few weeks I’ve ended up with quite a decent collection of empty beauty, skincare and haircare products, so I thought now was the perfect time to do another Empties, Regrets and Review post. In this series I briefly review each empty product and decide whether it was regret or if I’ll repurchase it. My most popular post to date on this blog was the first instalment of this series that I wrote back in March, and you can read that post here! So, let’s get on with the empties and I hope you find these mini reviews helpful!
It’s Beauty Loop Unboxing time! Beauty Loop Boxes are part of the Mecca Beauty Loop where you get a box of free samples to try from Mecca four times a year, and the second box of the year is here! I’m still on Level 1 has I haven’t bought much from Mecca lately (I’m holding out for all those precious new releases from Too Faced which are apparently going to drop in stores at the end of May!) but I thought I’d show you what’s in the box anyway!
This past week I’ve run out of some beauty and skincare bits and pieces and thought it would be a nice to do a post where I briefly review each empty product and decide if I’ll repurchase them. Is it just me or does everyone else tend to finish a lot of makeup products suddenly at once? I guess that’s maybe due to me buying and trying out a few things all in one go! Whatever the case may be, let’s get on with the reviews!
As mentioned in my “What I Got For My 18th Birthday” blog post I was lucky enough to receive two different Lush Gift Sets from my friends Hai Xia and Molly (thank you so much girls!). I thought it’d be nice to make a blog post about what’s inside each set as Lush products are just so pretty and photogenic! I also haven’t used anything in these sets except for one product, so I’m so pleased to have a bunch of new products to try!
For Christmas I received the “Merry Christmas” gift box set from Lush Cosmetics and I couldn’t be happier! As someone who it yet to try out all their face masks and scrubs, bath bombs are a guaranteed favourite of mine and this set included 5 Christmas themed ones! I’m aware I’m writing this post in January and that these exact products won’t be in Lush stores by this point, but I thought it would be nice to share my thoughts on them and maybe inspire you to pop into a Lush store yourself to check out their year round products!
