A Paris Photo Diary

A Paris Photo Diary

Earlier this year I spent a short while in Paris, but nowhere near enough time to write about an entire day or two, or an incredible dining experience, or to recommend a huge list of eating spots you have to check out. What I thought I’d do instead was show what I got up to in a photo diary of sorts. I loved the typical Parisian architecture, the elegant streets, and how they became even more beautiful in the rain. I ticked the essential sights off my bucket list, walked down one of the most expensive shopping districts in the world, and drank hot chocolates that somehow thwarted the Italian ones I had become addicted to. Keep reading to see my Paris photo diary, and if you enjoy it, don’t forget to give this post a “like” so I know!

Afternoon Tea at Sketch London

Afternoon Tea at Sketch London

On my 20th birthday earlier this year, I was lucky enough to spend the morning in Paris, then hop on a quick flight and spend the afternoon and next few days celebrating in London. The first stop on my and Natalie‘s checklist was Sketch, an eating spot in Mayfair whose velvet pink interiors we’ve seen for years on Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr have made the location one of the world’s most photographed restaurants. With it’s artwork on the walls, five course meals plated in front of us, and a string quartet providing the backing soundtrack, Sketch became a complete sensory experience like no other. I snapped a couple of pictures to help capture the most memorable dining affair of my life, so I hope you enjoy Afternoon Tea at Sketch, London!

Overseas Travel Essentials

Overseas Travel Essentials

In case I hadn’t mentioned it enough, I travelled all throughout January and into February. I learnt a bunch of things while overseas, like how the only way to cross the road in Rome is to just start walking while staring down the driver in the car hurtling towards you, and that wild boar meatballs can improve your mood by 100%. But I also learnt what items were essentials to my trip, and what just sat in my suitcase the entire time and should have just stayed home. I thought I’d share my list of packing essentials here, because if you’re currently planning for your next overseas adventure, words of wisdom from actual travellers make the whole preparing part a whole lot less overwhelming. If you enjoy this post please give it a “like” so I know, and lets get into the suitcase essentials!

February Favourites

February Favourites

February has come to a close and followed in the footsteps of January – it was just as incredible! From celebrating my birthday, to celebrating another blogging milestone, from hopping to one international world city to the next, to discovering and rediscovering some beauty hits, to devouring the pages of a new book on the flight home, February was filled with a little – or a lot – of everything! Since I did a sentimental, less materialistic wrap up for January and the end of 2018 was filled with my yearly favourites, I’m so happy to sit down and chat about my February because I haven’t done a good ol’ fashioned monthly favourites like this since November! Where does the time go? Nevertheless, make yourself comfortable, settle in, and I hope you enjoy my February Favourites! If you do, make sure you give this post a “like” so I know, and let’s get into it!
