While I’m a huge fan of brands you can pick up from your local Priceline, sometimes I do justify forking out a fortune for some amazing products from high ends brands. I thought I’d gather up and share what products I happily paid a pretty penny for and didn’t regret a single bit because they’ve just proved to have been so worth it!
It’s that time of the year again! Cadbury eggs have been lining the supermarket shelves, the hot cross buns are fresh out of the oven, and the Easter bunny is getting ready for a busy night. It’s Easter tomorrow! To celebrate, I created this special holiday post because nothing says Easter to a beauty lover like myself more than a flatlay featuring chocolate themed Too Faced products!
Writer’s block is frustrating, and it’s even more confusing when you’re looking at a giant list of ideas you’ve written down to help spark some inspiration, and nothing’s jumping out at you. I have lists written down on notes in my phones, scribbled inside notebooks and mapped out in my planner, yet I’m still stuck for ideas. Today I want to do something new with my blog and write my first real opinion piece or reflection, and maybe give a little advice.
The other day I was setting up my new vanity (a blog post about that project is coming in a few weeks!) and I realised I don’t really tend to talk about perfumes much on my blog. I thought today I would do a little “perfume collection” blog post about all the ones I’ve got so far and which ones are my favourites!
The other week I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when someone in Cool Cat Group posted that Kikki K has a new collection out that features the cutest little cat designs! I thought the items were amazing but in the back of my mind just assumed they’d be quite pricey, as other items like planners I’ve eyed off in the past from Kikki K have been around the $50, if not more. So you can imagine my delight when I popped into my nearest Kikki K store and saw that the whole range was really well priced! I picked up my favourite things from the collection and thought today it would be nice to share my thoughts on them!
This past week I’ve run out of some beauty and skincare bits and pieces and thought it would be a nice to do a post where I briefly review each empty product and decide if I’ll repurchase them. Is it just me or does everyone else tend to finish a lot of makeup products suddenly at once? I guess that’s maybe due to me buying and trying out a few things all in one go! Whatever the case may be, let’s get on with the reviews!
Another month has passed which means it’s time for another monthly favourites blog post! How are we already in March? Easter is this month but Christmas felt like last week? While I try and figure out where the year has gone, here’s a list of all the things I loved throughout the month of February!
Last week I popped into Target to check out the Chi Chi Cosmetics stand and saw that everything was reduced! I have been wanting to pick up another Glamourous Eyeshadow palette from them since I fell in love with their Spices palette, so when I saw that Chi Chi was selling some of their palettes as duos, I jumped at the chance. I ended up buying the Rich Gems & Smokeys Dynamic Duo for several reasons, the main one being it was originally $30 reduced to $21, so I basically got one palette for free as they are normally $22 each!
