Even though this post is going up on Boxing Day, Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day filled with good food, company and presents! As the festive season leaves (cries) and the season for spending is now upon us, I thought I’d share with you what I got for Christmas this year to help spark some Boxing Day shopping inspiration. This post is a sort of follow up from my Christmas Gift Guide 2015 post, but to also help you navigate the retail realm this week. Boxing Day sales (and the week of sales that follow it) can be overwhelming, but knowing what you want and staying focused will help you get the most out of the sales.
This year I picked out all my gifts so there were no surprises in store, but I’m so happy and excited to try out everything I received! When I was planning what I wanted this year I noticed I’ve moved away from asking for a big, main present and opted for more smaller gifts. I first got Blue Neighbourhood by Troye Sivan (very proud of you!) which I’ll be reviewing in a few weeks time. Then I opened the Chi Chi palette in Spices which has the most beautiful shades and pigmentation for its price! I’ll also be doing a product review on that in a few weeks. I then opened two journals, one is a plain 4 subject notebook while the other is a 2016 weekly planner from Typo.
My last present was a gift box from Lush, and it was the “Merry Christmas” set which featured 5 bath bombs. I picked this specific set out because the bath bombs are my favourite product from Lush and it only came to $34, which I thought was a great deal. I really love all the scents in this set with none of them being overly sweet or overly glittery. I haven’t tried any of these bombs yet, as they are Christmas themed, so I can’t wait to try them out and review them for you. I know all Lush gift sets are 50% on Boxing Day and beyond until they run out of stock, so I definitely recommend popping into a Lush store if you happen to be out because they would have some really amazing deals. I hope you enjoyed this post, leave a comment in the replies section on what you got for Christmas, or awesome Boxing Day deals you want to share with others!
All the love,
If you’re someone like me who tends to shy away from bright and bold makeup options then Christmas time is the perfect opportunity to experiment and try out a red lippie whilst seamlessly blending into the festive atmosphere. For today’s post I’ve gathered together five red lip options that I think are perfect for the holiday season! In no particular order they are… Continue reading “Top 5 Festive Lipsticks”
I’m so much more festive this year and if you’ve been watching #24DaysofZoella and other YouTubers Vlogmas everyday like me, I bet you’re feeling the same way. So for today’s post I wanted to share a new little festive edition to my bedroom, which is a mini Christmas tree complete with mini baubles and dog ornaments!

Today I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you some gift ideas I’ve had floating around in my head recently. As I’ve been trying to figure out what I want for Christmas this year, I’ve looked back on past years gifts and things I’ve picked up throughout the year and thought they would make beautiful presents for either yourself or someone special! So without further ado, here is my Christmas Gift Guide for 2015!

As I’ve recently finished school and my weekends and holidays aren’t plagued with 3,000 word English Extension essays, I’ve finally had time to take the 4 hour car trip to Bundaberg to visit my sister. I wanted to share with you some of the photos I took while I was there because it’s such a beautiful and peaceful place.
After the car ride there we went straight to Indulge Cafe, which won the Brisbane Times Good Food Guide 2016 People’s Choice award earlier this year. Indulge is an amazing and delicious cafe that I highly recommend you try out if you visit Bundaberg, that is, if you are lucky to grab a table. Here’s a picture of the chicken and blue cheese quesadilla I ordered without knowing how insanely huge it would be. I don’t regret a minute of it though!

I’m so excited to start this project as I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and I can’t wait to share my exciting ideas with you all (and maybe inspire a few of you in the process).
I hope you like what you see and thank you for reading my first blog post!
